 Job Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of our warehouse operations, including inventory management, receiving, storing, and shipping products in a timely and efficient manner.

  Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
  2. Ensure accurate and efficient inventory management by conducting regular cycle counts and reconciling discrepancies.
  3. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  4. Hire, train, coach, and mentor warehouse staff to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
  5. Monitor and enforce workplace safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
  6. Collaborate with the route sales team to ensure seamless operations and timely order fulfillment.
  7. Utilize existing technology tools to track inventory levels and streamline processes.
  8. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings initiatives.
  9. Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance metrics, such as inventory accuracy, on-time delivery, and labor productivity.
  10. Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.

Position Requirements

  1. High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
  2. Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams to achieve results.
  3. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to proactively identify problems and propose and execute solutions.
  4. Knowledge of industry regulations, and compliance requirements.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  6. Experience with ERP systems, warehouse management systems (WMS), and transportation management systems (TMS) is desirable.
  7. Preferred experience implementing Six Sigma practices.
  8. Ability to bend, lift (up to 60 lbs.), climb, stretch, reach, and walk throughout the day.
  9. Ability to operate a forklift safely with training.
  10. Ability to use a computer to track inventory.
