Are you a compassionate and motivated veterinarian looking to make a real difference while still maintaining a healthy work/life balance? Join the Central California SPCA and be part of a dedicated team that’s changing lives every day.

Why Work With Us?

At the Central California SPCA, our focus is simple: to serve the community through affordable, high-volume, high-quality spays/neuters and wellness services. We are seeking a licensed veterinarian who shares our passion for animal welfare and thrives in a team-oriented, mission-driven environment.

  • Conduct pre-op exams and determine surgical eligibility
  • Provide post-op follow-up care and occasional wellness exams

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, and the ability to multitask and establish priorities.
  • Be in alignment with CCSPCA’s vision, mission, core values & beliefs, and positions on animal welfare.
  • New graduates welcome - we offer mentorship and support to help you build confidence.

Benefits

What We Offer:

  • No on-call or emergency hours.
