Job Description

The Service Department Valet plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and positive customer experience by managing the arrival and check-in process for vehicles. This position involves interacting with customers, handling vehicles with care, and providing exceptional service to enhance overall customer satisfaction. Additionally, the role may include shuttling customers and handling the pickup and delivery of customer vehicles. Key Responsibilities: * Customer Interaction:

• Greet customers promptly and courteously upon their arrival.
• Verify customer information.

Vehicle Handling:

• Park and retrieve customer vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure vehicles are properly secured and protected while in the service area.
• Conduct a preliminary inspection of vehicles upon arrival to note any existing damage.

Check-In Process:

• Accurately input customer and vehicle information into the service management system.
• Coordinate with service advisors to ensure smooth transition of vehicles to the service department.

Customer Service:

• Maintain a clean and organized valet area.
• Provide a high level of customer service by anticipating customer needs and addressing concerns promptly.
• Follow up with customers as needed to ensure satisfaction with the service process.

Shuttling and Pickup/Delivery:

• Shuttle customers to and from the service location as needed.
• Manage the pickup and delivery of customer vehicles, ensuring timely and secure transport.
• Communicate with customers regarding pickup and delivery schedules and any changes.

Communication:

• Effectively communicate with service advisors and technicians to relay important vehicle and service information.

Compliance and Safety:

• Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to vehicle handling and customer service.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of customers, vehicles, and staff.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle vehicles of various sizes and types.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and maneuver vehicles throughout the shift.
• Work environment may include exposure to varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to operate a vehicle safely and responsibly while shuttling customers and managing pickups/deliveries.

Schedule: Monday - 2:00pm to 6:00pm Tuesday - 2:00pm to 6:00pm Friday - 2:00pm to 6:00pm
