What You'll Do

As a Truck Mechanic at Kerr Contractors, you will perform preventative maintenance on all equipment.

Can you diagnose, repair and troubleshoot?

• Class 8 Trucks
• Diesel engines
• Brake systems
• Drive systems
• Hydraulic systems
• Electrical systems

What You'll Need:

• Must have a valid license and clean driving record
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Must consent to background screening
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong team player
• Must have reliable transportation

Compensation & Benefits:

• Schedule is Monday-Fridays (with occasional Saturdays)
• Hours: 6:00am to 4:30pm
• Generous wage (dependent on your experience-REQUIRED at least 2-3 years of working on Class 8)
• With this work schedule, you will earn overtime on top of your normal hourly wage (time and a half!)
