Project Kuiper is Amazon’s low Earth orbit satellite broadband network. Its mission is to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world, and we’ve designed the system with the capacity, flexibility, and performance to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.

Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

The Kuiper Electronic Supply Chain team is seeking a Sr Operations Technical Program Manager to drive technical manufacturing and supply chain operations Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) destined for our satellites. The successful candidate will manage contract manufacturers' end-to-end production processes while maintaining an uncompromising focus on quality and delivery requirements.

**This position will be based on site at our Vendor in Santa Clara, California.**

Key job responsibilities
• Develop and execute comprehensive PCBA supply chain execution and strategies to support high-volume satellite production while ensuring quality, cost efficiency, delivery and risk mitigation
• Lead supplier qualification, and relationship management for complex, high-reliability PCBA manufacturing
• Drive technical alignment between design teams, manufacturing partners, and quality engineering to optimize PCBA manufacturability and yield
• Create and manage contingency plans for supply chain disruptions, including multi-sourcing strategies and geographical risk diversification
• Partner with engineering and hardware teams to influence PCB design decisions that impact supply chain resilience
• Lead cross-functional programs to qualify new PCBA technologies and manufacturing processes

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
