Our growing client is seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead operations at our Midwest facility—a dynamic, 24/7 unionized plant producing food and beverages. What You’ll Do as the Sr. Operations Manager:
· Oversee all plant production activities and ensure KPI tracking and attainment
· Lead a team of direct reports in Production & Sanitation staff
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives and participate in capital projects
· Manage recruiting, hiring, and training of production team members
· Conduct plant audits and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards
· Handle performance management, union activities, and operational analysis
· Provide oversight on budgets and contribute to strategic planning.
What We’re Looking for in a Sr. Operations Manager:
· High school diploma required
· At least 8 years in food or beverage manufacturing
· At least 5 years in management
· Experience with aseptic processing
· Experience with union relations
· Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet.
· Proven ability to hold teams accountable and deliver results.
