Sun Property Group (SPG) is a full service real estate firm based in Boston, MA. SPG is seeking a real estate assistant to support the firm's principals with permitting development projects, assisting with the construction and marketing phase of said projects, accounting / bookkeeping tasks, and management of their existing real estate portfolio.

Job Description

• Assist SPG staff with various development permitting tasks, including plan submittals and other document filings;
• During project construction phase, assist SPG principals and construction project managers with obtaining permits and bids from vendors;
• Assist with tasks leading up to the construction phase of development projects, such as utility shut-offs and new utility services;
• Assist SPG principals with marketing of units developed to be sold or leased;
• Work with SPG staff Property Managers in overseeing the firm's real estate portfolio;
• Help SPG Property Managers coordinate service requests for our 850+ unit portfolio;
• Draft lease documentation for properties that are to be rented;
• Assist accounting department with accounts payable / accounts receivable tasks, along with other bookkeeping functions.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Outlook, Word and Excel;
• Experience working with Google Drive, Sheets and Docs.
