Position Overview: Full Time and Per Diem Opportunities Available

In partnership with the University of Arizona, the Department of Medical Imaging at Banner - University Medicine Tucson is actively interviewing fellowship-trained mammography radiologist to join the Division of Breast Imaging. Intellectually curious, team-oriented radiologists that enjoy specializing in Breast Imaging cases- and enthusiastically teach others via our academic and research setting- will thrive with our close-knit team. The ideal applicant will have expertise in all aspects of Breast Imaging including screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, MRI, and multimodality image-guided breast interventions, and possess experience and passion in caring for their Breast Imaging patients while teaching and supervising medical students, residents, and fellows within a vibrantly diverse community. The qualified candidate will receive an academic appointment consistent with their credentials.

• Dedicated breast imaging center with tomosynthesis and breast MRI on site
• Interventional services include tomosynthesis guided breast biopsy, MR guided breast biopsy, and Savi-Scout reflector localization procedures
• Designated as “Center of Excellence” by the American College of Radiology
• Highly collegial and collaborative work environment, including with dedicated breast surgery and oncology physician colleagues
• Essential part of the Breast Health Program at the University of Arizona Cancer Center (UACC) since 2009. UACC is the comprehensive cancer center headquartered in and serving the entire state of Arizona

Minimum Qualifications:

• American Board of Radiology certified or eligible
• Fellowship Training in Breast Imaging
• Position open to experienced breast imaging radiologists as well as fellow new grads with interests in an enriching academic career path
• H-1B, O-1, and 2024 J-1 Visa Waiver Sponsorship opportunities are available
