Job Description
Plasma Ruggedized Solutions is looking for charismatic, energetic, self-motivated, Technical Sales Engineers to join our sales team in Huntington Beach CA. The candidates must have a good understanding of the anatomy of a circuit board and the application of conformal coatings.
Qualifications/Experience - Prior experience in aerospace, medical, technology, industrial, or automotive industries
- 10+ years in direct sales or materials or electronic systems with knowledge of conformal coatings
- Strong knowledge in Contract Manufacturing
- Ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas
- Experience in opportunity qualification, pre-visit planning, and call control
- Familiarity with plasma technologies, application of conformal coatings, potting/encapsulation and epoxy compounds preferred
- Experience with conformal coating or engineering services preferred
- Experience selling to Tier 1 or 2 type customers preferred
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business required
- Candidate must be competent in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods practices, and techniques
- Ability to perform basic calculations and mathematical figures
Responsibilities - Travel to customer locations and handle sales calls
- Represent the company at out-of-state trade shows, approximately once a month
- Host and lead meetings with current and prospective customers, including conducting on-site company tours
- Generate accurate and competitive price quotes based on technical drawings and customer specifications
- Handle some project management duties for existing customer accounts to ensure successful project execution
- Act as the primary communication facilitator between customers and the internal production team to align on project requirements and timelines
- Serve as the liaison between customers and the production team to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction
