Forklift Service Technician — Louisville, Kentucky

Picture your day. It is 7:30 a.m. in Louisville and your service truck is stocked, organized, and ready. First stop: a warehouse with a sit-down forklift showing a hydraulic leak. You diagnose, swap seals, verify pressures, and get the truck back in rotation. Next, you roll to a customer with a reach forklift displaying an electrical fault. You pull codes, trace wiring, and button it up so production stays on pace. All day you are the go-to expert for keeping forklifts and industrial equipment performing like they should.

What you will tackle

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain forklifts and related industrial equipment across customer sites.
• Execute preventive maintenance to cut downtime and keep fleets reliable.
• Communicate clearly with customers and your service manager about findings, parts, and timelines.
• Maintain an organized, well-stocked service truck and accurate parts tracking.
• Deliver professional, courteous service every time.

What sets you up for success

• Hands-on mechanic background required — automotive, forklifts, or any motor or battery-powered equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Strength in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, including hydraulics, internal combustion engines, and electrical systems.
• Self-starter who solves problems independently and takes ownership.
• Clear communicator with strong customer service instincts.
