Job Title: Logistics Coordinator 

Location: Sparta, NJ

Job Description: Responsible for coordinating and managing outbound freight shipments to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

• Schedule, prepare, and route shipments per customer requirements.
• Create accurate bills of lading, pallet labels, and customs documentation.
• Process and track orders through fulfillment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor and resolve shipping errors to prevent recurrence.
• Communicate with customers and carriers, providing shipment details and support.
• Review freight costs and carrier rates to optimize efficiency and reduce expenses.

Requirements:

• Experience preparing BOLs
• Ability to review freight costs, transportation rates and prices of raw material to keep costs down along with knowledge of customs documentation for international shipments.
• Knowledge of shipping methods (air, sea, road) and tools such as UPS WorldShip®, FedEx Ship Manager®, and DHL systems.
• Understanding of materials handling, production processes, and distribution best practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and shipping software.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills.
• Ability to follow instructions, adapt in a fast-paced environment, and maintain excellent attention to detail.
• Knowledge of inventory and material handling principles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and training.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm temp-to-perm
