Job Description

We are looking to grow our team and our impact in the community by hiring an Event Coordinator. At Chick-fil-A Vicksburg, our Mission is to “Be a Beacon of Light to Vicksburg,” and we are looking for someone to help us carry out this mission. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and restaurant growth. This role requires a creative and community-minded individual who is passionate about delivering remarkable experiences, aligning with Chick-fil-A’s core values of service, excellence, and hospitality. This is a full-time roll, 30-40 hours a week. It could be part-time under the right circumstances (ex. if you are a current college student).

The ideal person for this roll should meet the following requirements:

  • Education or work experience in Marketing
  • Proficient with Canva for document creation
  • Enthusiasm for sharing Chick-fil-A with our community
  • Ability to plan and execute events inside and outside our restaurant
  • Availability to work flexible hours to host events or be out in the community
  • Availability to work on some (not all!) Saturdays

Other responsibilities include:

  • Monitor and respond to online reviews and comments in a timely and professional manner
  • Use data insights to improve guest engagement and retention strategies
  • Collaborate with Leadership and Team Members to align marketing with store operations
  • Train Team Members in person and via Slack on promotion details and marketing goals
  • Plan and execute community events, Spirit Nights, fundraisers, and outreach efforts that reinforce Chick-fil-A’s values
  • Create and manage budgets for marketing campaigns
  • Submit receipts, invoices, and reports in a timely manner
  • Maintain fresh flowers on dining room tables
  • Be aware of and promote corporate marketing initiatives
  • Assist in planning Team events: Christmas party, in-store celebrations, Team Member birthday gifts
  • Sampling and food distribution
  • Manage Cow hours and events
  • Manage Catering and Delivery orders and relationships (non-operational aspects)
