Criminal Defense Associate Attorney

Austin, TX | Full-Time | $90,000-$130,000/year

Join a respected and growing criminal defense law firm in Austin, TX, that's committed to protecting the rights of individuals across Central Texas. We're looking for a passionate, bilingual (English/Spanish) Criminal Defense Associate Attorney ready to take ownership of their caseload and thrive in a fast-paced litigation environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an attorney who values advocacy, teamwork, and impactful representation.

What You'll Do:

* Represent clients in criminal matters from pre-trial through trial

* Appear in county courts and detention facilities across Central Texas

* Negotiate with prosecutors and advocate on behalf of clients

* Conduct legal research, draft motions, and develop case strategy

* Communicate clearly with clients throughout their cases

* Travel as needed to jails and court appearances

What You Bring:

* Licensed to practice law in Texas

* 1-2+ years of experience in criminal law (defense or prosecution)

* Courtroom experience; confident in litigation and advocacy

* Familiarity with Travis, Hays, and Williamson County courts is a plus

* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally

* Fluency in English and Spanish (required)

* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage a diverse caseload

Compensation & Benefits:

* Base salary: $90K-$130K (DOE) + performance-based bonuses
