The Audio and Media Technologies Group (AMT) is at the center of audio, video and graphics support in Apple’s innovative products, including the AirPods, HomePod, Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV. AMT’s Audio team provides the audio foundation for various high profile features like Game Audio, Siri, FaceTime, media capture, playback and APIs for third party developers to enrich our platforms. We are looking for a highly motivated audio enthusiastic and experienced engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance audio APIs using Swift for all of Apple’s platforms. This role combines deep audio engineering expertise with modern Swift development practices to create robust, efficient, well-architected and developer-focused audio solutions. This work involves close collaboration within Audio and with other teams like Media and Swift teams at Apple.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
