We are looking for a Machine Operator in Rowley, MA

Pay is $23-25 an hour DOE

Major Job Functions & Responsibilities

Accurately set machine program and maintain operation to precise fabrication drawing specifications
Maintain consistent pace in coordination with other fabrication operations personnel
Responsible for quality inspection of own workmanship, addressing significant discrepancies, and for discussing marginal discrepancies with supervisor as needed to determine if corrective action is necessary
Maintain organized, clean and safe workspace

Authorities Related to Job Functions & Responsibilities

Able to suspend work progress to address safety concerns
Able to suspend work progress to address discrepancies with workmanship
Able to suspend work progress to address maintenance and/or safety standards of machines

Required Skills/Abilities

Ability to read and correctly interpret fabrication drawings
Ability to safely operate shop overhead crane system
Ability to use measuring devices such as tape measure, framing square, protractor, laser device, assorted levels
Ability to count and track multiple piece orders
Knowledge of standard AISC steel shapes
Good communication skills, able to work with others in a fast-paced production focused environment
Comfortable with using technology in a paperless environment, including the use of administrative and production related software programs
Quality and safety minded
