Automotive Retail Assistant Manager Location Romeoville, IL :

As an Assistant Manager at Belle Tire, you do what it takes to keep life moving for our customers. You'll play a key leadership role in the store and contribute to driving sales and managing daily operations of a multi-million-dollar retail business. You'll thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment focused on safety and quality. What You'll Do

• Develop lasting customer relationships by understanding customers' needs and provide Belle Tire solutions according to their needs
• Follow Belle Tire's Sales Process
• Manage a cash drawer; process customer payments and maintain daily cash reconciliation
• Direct the workflow in the shop, ensuring smooth and efficient operations
• Follow store opening and closing processes and manage day to day paperwork
• Assist in interviewing and onboarding store employees and writing work schedule
• Coach and develop employees to achieve store and personal goals and foster a positive work environment
• Oversee inventory management processes
• Ensure the facility is well-maintained
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Perform other duties as assigned by your manager

What We're Looking For Minimum Qualifications:

• 18 years old
• Valid driver's license
• 1 year of leadership experience in a retail and/or automotive service environment
• Customer-first mindset and ability to communicate clearly and professionally

Preferred Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods, bend and lift up to 75 pounds

Work Environment

This position is based within a tire and automotive service retail store. Varying work hours, Monday through Saturday, with possible overtime. Fast-paced workshop setting with physical demands, including extended standing and heavy lifting.

$50,000 - $65,000 / year
