Key Responsibilities of an Auto Mechanic:
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues
- Replace worn components including belts, hoses, filters, and suspension parts
- Conduct safety inspections to ensure compliance and reliability
- Maintain accurate service and repair documentation
- Keep the shop clean, organized, and safe
- Collaborate with team members to reduce downtime and keep vehicles in service
What You Bring as an Auto Mechanic:
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic (fleet experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of diagnostics, repair procedures, and preventative maintenance
- Proficiency with diagnostic tools and modern repair equipment
- Detail‑oriented mindset with a focus on safety and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license
- Dependable, motivated, and positive work ethic
