Accountant Responsibilities:
Prepare cost and inventory reports, including COGS and key financial summaries
Analyze variances between actual and budgeted costs
Evaluate cost structures and identify efficiency opportunities
Maintain accurate records of inventory and production costs
Partner cross-functionally with supply chain, production, and ops teams
Support physical inventory counts and ensure accurate reporting
Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial statement prep
Perform journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
Track KPIs and generate reports using Excel and Power BI
Drive improvements in reporting, automation, and accounting processes
Handle ad hoc analysis and reporting needs
Accountant Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
1–3+ years of accounting experience
Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP)
Familiarity with ERP systems and Power BI
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills
Cost accounting or manufacturing experience preferred
